Try It Tuesday~Star Pencil Tutorial!!

I have another Star (Maya Road) project for you.
This will look darling by your phone or on your desk.  Heck, it would be great for kids!!!!

Supplies needed~
Maya Road: Star cap, Say Cheese Wood pieces, Vintage Trinkets ( brown flower),
Star stick pin, Burlap trim.
7gypsies: Paper Tape/Global
May Arts: Twine /Red
Other: scrap paper, vintage spool, white pearl tip stick pin, word sticker, pencil, hot glue, felt.

Instructions:
1). Run the star through the Big Shot to flatten it out.  By doing this the edge of the Star takes on a new look:)
2). Cut a Star for the center out of a scrap piece of pattern paper.  I chose this one with the Fox looking.  I think it is Bella Blvd, but don't hold me to it.
3). Hot glue the paper and embellishments to the center of the Star.
4). Hot glue a loop to the back of the Star (using felt) so the pencil topper can be removed or put on a new pencil when needed.
5). Wrap the pencil with the paper tape.
6). Wrap the burlap trim around the spool and tie.
7). Add stick pins to trim.
8). To store the pencil, insert it into the spool hole.
9). enjoy!!
